Carole O’ Neill will speak at Sunset River Marketplace in Calabash, NC, March 9 from 10 – 11 a.m. as part of the gallery’s ongoing Coffee With the Authors series.
O’Neill’s book, Hidden Truth: A Seaside Murder, is a story woven around an actual murder in the Victorian town of Onset Village in coastal Massachusetts. For half a century, local residents have tried to forget the murder of a beautiful tourist who came to enjoy the sun and dance in the Casino Ballroom. When broadcast journalist Samantha Scott purchases a local cottage, she finds herself in the middle of a cold case with enough evidence to solve the almost perfect murder.
