Carnivorous Plant Program at the Museum of Coastal Carolina on May 7

Join Mark Todd on May 7 at 11  am at the Museum of Coastal Carolina when he will discuss southeastern North Carolina’s native species of carnivorous plants. Some of the plants  Todd will discuss include Venus Flytraps, Pitcher Plants, and Sundews. Children who attend this program will learn how to care for Venus Flytraps and will be able to bring one home with them.

Mark Todd has been relentlessly serving in the conservation of carnivorous plants for over 10 years. He is the conservation director and a founding board member of the North American Sarracenia Conservancy.

The Museum of Coastal Carolina is located at 21 East Second Street in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Admission is free for museum members. Non-member museum admission, which includes admission to the carnivorous plant program, is $9 for adults (13-61), $8 for seniors (62+), $7 for children (3-12), and free for age 2 and under.
