Colonial Holiday Cooking with Karen Moshoures at Museum of Coastal Carolina

On Dec. 2 at 6 PM, Karen Moshoures will share some of her favorite Colonial Holiday Cooking recipes at the Museum of Coastal Carolina. Ms. Moshoures will demonstrate how to make a sumptuous Welsh Rarebit, a delicious Apple Tansey from the 1700’s, delightful Colonial Sugar Cookies, and a holiday Plum Pudding with Hard Sauce. You will have the opportunity to taste each tempting dish. Recipes will be provided so that you can test your skills in your own kitchen.

Karen_MoshouresKaren Moshoures is the host of ATMC’s “The Coastal Kitchen.” Cooking has always been her passion and the holiday season is especially close to her heart. She loves cooking and sharing her recipes with others. Ms. Moshoures has been a Brunswick County resident since 1975. She is a licensed Optician in North Carolina and works with her husband, Dr. Chris Moshoures.

The Museum of Coastal Carolina is located at 21 East Second Street in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Admission is free for members. Non-member admission is $8 for adults (13-61), $7 for seniors (62+), $6 for children (3-12), and free for ages 2 and under.
