Docent Tours Offered for Grand Strand Collects Exhibition

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the Board of Trustees and staff of the Franklin G. Burroughs – Simeon B. Chpain Art Museum envisioned an exhibition that would sum up the many things that have made the Museum what it is: art, culture and community. The result is Grand Strand Collects, a compilation of more than 200 works of art on loan from local residents.

The exhibit, which fills all of the Museum’s galleries, reflects the tastes, passions and pleasures of local collectors. Grand Strand Collects features works of fine art, both 2D and 3D, in all kinds of media, that demonstrate not only artistic merit but also their collectors’ premises for adding them into their collections.
