Continues Efforts With “Healthy For Good” Initiative To Create A Healthier North Myrtle Beach

Following the announcement of the new partnership with the American Heart Association, the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, CVB is launching monthly educational sessions to continue its efforts in creating a healthier North Myrtle Beach. Sessions are open to North Myrtle Beach Chamber Members in conjunction with the “Healthy For Good” initiative launched on Friday, Feb. 4.

 

In addition to the educational sessions the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, CVB is encouraging everyone to start walking as a way to engage and maintain one’s health. Every first and third Wednesday of the month the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, CVB is holding “Walking Wednesdays” from noon to 1:00 p.m.

 

“We have some pretty exciting events planned over the next several months,” said North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, CVB President and CEO, Marc Jordan. “Through the Healthy for Good initiative and our partnership with the American Heart Association we are ready to start making a change in our community and create a difference for generations to come.”

The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, CVB will offer resources and special programs provided through the American Heart Association. The year long “Healthy For Good” initiative is designed to motivate the citizens of North Myrtle Beach to live healthier lives, inspire a change and unify people around the idea that a small change now can create a difference for the future. The program will cater specifically to employees and family members of North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, CVB members.
