Join us for Military Appreciation Days in Myrtle Beach during the month of May! We’re celebrating military men and women – active duty, reserves and National Guard – and veterans from every service branch. The Vietnam Memorial Wall returns, along with concerts, special events and family activities, plus the big parade on Saturday, May 24.
· Vietnam Memorial Wall (The Wall that Heals) – A traveling version of the Vietnam Memorial Wall returns to Myrtle Beach, May 14-18, and will be on display near Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium at Grand Park.
· Memorial Day Parade – This big Ocean Boulevard Memorial Day Parade steps off at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 24. Stay tuned for an announcement of this year’s Grand Marshal. Want to be in the parade? Sign up now at www.militaryappreciationdays.com.
· Family picnic, military exhibits and more – After the parade May 24, join us for a Family Picnic on the Pavilion Site, complete with activities for the kids, military exhibits, music and more. Headlining the afternoon is the Andrew Thielen Big Band with an outstanding performance.
