The show schedule at Ingram Planetarium includes the premiere of a new family program titled “Earth, Moon & Sun.”
Produced locally by the Morehead Planetarium at UNC Chapel Hill, this new presentation will explore the relationship between the Earth, Moon and Sun with the help of Coyote, an amusing character adapted from Native American oral traditions. This fast-paced, family show investigates our home planet and how it interacts with our most familiar neighbors. Learn about lunar phases, eclipses and other phenomena we see in our skies to better understand how the Earth, Moon and Sun work together as a system.
Doors open at 11:30am on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with “Earth, Moon & Sun” being featured at 1:00 pm throughout the month of October. Show trailers and complete playlists for laser art and music shows are available at www.MuseumPlanetarium.org.The full October lineup of shows is listed below:
