Summer Schedule at Ingram Planetarium

Ingram Planetarium begins its summer schedule on May 27, 2016. From May 27 through September 5, 2016, Ingram Planetarium will be open six days a week, Monday through Saturday. During the summer, doors open at 10:30 am on Monday-Friday and 12:30 pm on Saturday. Movie trailers and complete playlists for laser music shows are available at www.MuseumPlanetarium.org.

Until May 27th, Ingram Planetarium will continue to be open from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm on Friday and Saturday only.

Ingram Planetarium is located at 7625 High Market Street in Sunset Beach, NC. Admission is free for members. Non-member per-show admission (including NC sales tax) to see a Sky Theater show is $9.50 for adults, $8.50 for seniors (62+), $7.50 for children (3-12), and free for age 2 and under. Monday-Friday Shows in the Sky Theater (doors open at 10:30 am)

11:00   July 25-29 ONLY – Let It Snow: A Holiday Music Journey – Celebrate Christmas in July with the season’s greatest hits featuring a dazzling finale by The Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

12:00   The Sky Tonight! – Explore the planets, constellations, and other celestial events visible in the Carolina night sky.

1:00   Accidental Astronauts – NEW! – Follow the adventures of Sy, Annie, their dog Armstrong, and a wise-cracking starship computer as they embark on an unexpected journey into space exploring the sun and moon. Followed by a live star show.

2:00   Astronaut – What training do astronauts need? What dangers do astronauts face? What does it take to live on the space station? Find out in this exciting program! Followed by a live star show.

3:00   Undiscovered Worlds – This program explores the timeless question: Do other planets like Earth exist? Followed by a live star show.

4:00   Seven Wonders – Witness the seven wonders of the ancient world, then discover the modern wonders of the cosmos. Followed by a live star show.

5:00   The Sky Tonight! – Explore the planets, constellations, and other celestial events visible in the Carolina night sky.

Saturday Shows in the Sky Theater (doors open at 12:30 pm)
