Wildlife majors from Horry Georgetown Technical College recently participated in a prescribed burn at the Santee Delta in Charleston County with Jim Lee of the S.C. Dept. of Natural Resources. SCDNR holds a volunteer activity monthly with HGTC students on Fridays as a hands-on educational experience. HGTC offers the only associate degree program for forestry and wildlife in South Carolina.
