Memorial Day Parade – This big Ocean Boulevard Memorial Day Parade steps off at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013. Army Veteran and former Pittsburgh Steelers’ running back Rocky Bleier will serve as Grand Marshal of this year’s parade. - Family picnic, meet Rocky, military exhibits and more – After the parade, join us for a Picnic on the Pavilion Site, complete with activities for the kids, military exhibits, music and more. Headlining the afternoon is the Andrew Thielen Big Band with an outstanding patriotic show. Parade Grand Marshal Rocky Bleier will be there, too! Activities are set for Saturday, May 25, on Ocean Boulevard, Eighth to Ninth Avenue North.
- Memorial Day Ceremony – Join the Grand Strand Patriotic Alliance and City of Myrtle Beach for the Memorial Day Ceremony at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 27, on the Convention Center Plaza.
