The Little River Chamber of Commerce Announces its 9th Annual ShrimpFest and Entertainment Line Up
The Shrimp Festival returns to the Little River community October 12 and 13 for its ninth consecutive year. The Little River Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with Tracie Johnson & Hubert Bullard from Premier Concierge to present this year’s Little River Fall Street Festival. Staying true to their music festival theme, and teaming up with SongByrd Entertainment, this year’s festival is sure to provide an eclectic genre of music for all festival goers.
As in seasons past, there will be a large palette of concert artists that hail from around the nation, including this year’s headlining act Elise Testone; American Idol Season 11 contestant. Other performing acts include The Reggie Sullivan Band, Randy McQuay, Smokey Breeze, PotatoHeads, Scoot Pittman Band and returning fan favorite Bibis Ellison.
As always the two day festival includes a variety of activities to entertain the whole family like a interactive children’s area, arts & crafts vendors, collaborative visual art exhibits, local community business vendors, shrimp and grits cook-off, and much more! Fresh local seafood from area restaurants is highlighted along with southern barbecue and a variety of festival foods.
Experience a Southern Street Festival that fuses music, art and cuisine. Performances will showcase existing and newly commissioned artists in the jazz, pop, rock, and folk music genres.
