CREATE! Conway will host a grand-opening party for Little Free Library #59594
on Saturday, February 24 from 11 am – 1 pm. The public is invited. The ribbon cutting at 11 am will be followed by a Dr. Seuss themed celebration. Grab your family, friends and neighbors for the first step in creating a community full of Free Little Libraries for all to enjoy!
Little Free Libraries are a global phenomenon. The small, front-yard book
exchanges number 60,000 around the world in 80 countries — from Iceland to
Tasmania to Pakistan.
Now, a new Little Free Library at 708 12th Ave. in Conway, South Carolina will
join the movement to share books, bring people together and create communities of readers. Five additional Little Free Libraries will soon be located throughout Conway.
The project goal is to build community, spark creativity and inspire a love of reading.
Here’s how it works!
● We initially stock the Little Free Library with a variety of books
● Anyone may stop by and take whatever catches their eye
● Anyone may bring books to contribute when they can
